March 5 police blotter
The following reports were obtained from local police departments. The individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
â€¢ A Kane County Grand Jury on Feb. 19 indicted Doris Adamson, 56, of the 500 block of Main Street in Elburn, for forgery. Adamson was arrested by Sugar Grove police.
â€¢ A Kane County Grand Jury on Feb. 23 indicted Michael Galan, 43, of the 400 block of Conley Drive in Elburn, for unlawful use of credit card (10 counts), identity theft (42 counts) and unlawful use of debit card (12 counts). Galan was arrested by St. Charles Police.
â€¢ Allysa Rose Lucarelli, 20, of Heritage hill Drive in Naperville, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. March 19 for driving while her license was suspended. Police stopped her on Pierce Street near Route 47 for lacking a front license plate.
â€¢ Someone charged 12 purchases on the credit card of a Sugar Grove resident between March 14 and March 15.
â€¢ Someone made unauthorized charges totaling $92.84 on a Sugar Grove resident’s AT&T phone bill. The offender obtained a residentâ€™s name, phone number and address from the Internet, made up a fraudulent charge for service, and charged it to an AT&T bill through a third company. The resident filed a report on March 18.
â€¢ Someone fraudulently used the credit of a Sugar Grove resident to purchase a video game on www.newegg.com for $80.62. A second attempt was made to purchase a laptop using the same credit card. The resident filed a report on March 22.
