Soccer defeats Rosary

AURORA—Kaneland High School girls soccer can get used to this.
Using an Emily Heimerdinger goal on a Thalia Garcia assist with 15 minutes remaining in regulation, the Lady Knights came away with a 1-0 triumph over nearby rival Rosary last Wednesday.
Kaneland, following a season-opening win against IMSA, now improves to 2-0.
Freshman goalkeeper Jordan Ginter has yet to allow a goal in her two matches.
In JV action, Rosary defeated KHS by a 6-0 final.
Kaneland has an extended break before picking up the non-conference action on Wednesday, April 7, against visiting Indian Creek.
