Cougars celebrate 20th year with food

GENEVA—The Kane County Cougars have announced an all-you-can-eat Opening Day buffet to be held in conjunction with the team’s home opener on Sunday, April 11, at 1 p.m.

Held inside the new Super Suite on the Old Second Bank Upper Deck, fans can enjoy a menu that includes burgers, chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad, chips, fruit salad, cookies, brownies and Pepsi products from 12:30 to 2 p.m.

A cash bar will be available from noon to 3 p.m.

During the game, buffet attendees can enjoy exclusive stadium seating from either inside or outside the Super Suite as the Cougars kick off their 20th season of baseball in Geneva.

Admission is $30 per person. Fans can save $5 off regular admission price by ordering on or before April 5. Reservations can be made by ordering online at www.kccougars.com, by phone at (630) 232-8811 or at the Cougars’ office during business hours (Monday-Friday 9-5, Saturday 9-1 p.m.).
