Anderson helps out St. Gall

By on April 2, 2010

Elburn—Elburn Village President David Anderson donated his time, cooking skills and groceries recently to some St. Gall parishioners.

The four parishioners, Cameron and Paula Cook and David and Stephanie Mayo, won “Dinner with the Mayor of Elburn” contest recently at a fundraising event for St. Gall’s new church campaign.

Anderson and his wife, Janet, brought and prepared a full-course meal, including dessert, for six to the Cook’s home. The dinner included salad, Italian bread and dipping oil and a personal custom pasta creation by Anderson. The money raised was to support the new St. Gall Catholic Church, which will be located at the southeast corner of Hughes Road and Route 47.
