Kaneland Class of 2007 member Casey Crosby will start the 2010 campaign in Class A Lakeland for the Flying Tigers in Detroit’s farm system.

The Flying Tigers, considered high-A, play at Joker Marchant Stadium, also the spring training home to the big club.

Crosby was ranked the second-best prospect in the Tigers’ system by Baseball America and the top prospect in the Sporting News’ baseball preview.
