Bert and Heather (Kohley) Veldhuizen of Elburn announce the birth of their son, Garrett Wesley, who was born Feb. 13, 2010, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

He weighed 8 pounds, 6 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

His maternal grandparents are Carol and Ron Williams of Maple Park, and Denny (deceased) and Wendy Kohley of Poynette, Wis.

His paternal grandparents are Dale Veldhuizen of Sycamore and Teri and Kem Moran of Birchwood, Wis.

Great-grandparents are Glenn and Helen Kahl of Maple Park, Vera Shoemaker of Woodstock, Ill., and Phyllis Stone of Birchwood, Wis.
