Village adopts FY2010-11 budget

Sugar Grove—The Sugar Grove Village Board on Tuesday passed the 2010-11 budget, which will go into effect on May 1. The general fund deficit of $77,000 does not include the $204,000 decrease the village could experience in a shortfall of state funding. Revenues are down $310,000 from last year, and the village has cut $180,000 in expenses during the past year.
