Colin and Jessica Baumgartner of Montgomery announce the birth of their son, Brody Reid, May 10, 2010, at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.

He weighed 6 pounds, 10 ounces, and was 18 inches long.

His grandparents are Sue and Jeff Chada of Elburn, Harry and Jennifer Snyder of Byron, Ill., Julie Baumgartner of Sycamore, and Robert and Janine Baumgartner of Elburn.

His great-grandparents are Harry Charles Snyder of Byron, Ill., John and Kay Duffy of Wasco, and Ron and Pat Petrucci of Wasco.

Brody is the couple’s first child.
