Downing, Ott to wed

Brian and Mary Ott of Sugar Grove announce the engagement of their son, Michael Ott, to Lauren Downing, daughter of John and Betty Downing of Roscoe, Ill.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Honoegah Community High School in Rockton, Ill., and a 2009 graduate of Bradley University, with a B.S. in civil engineering. She is employed by Sargent & Lundy as a civil engineer.
The groom is a 2004 graduate of Kaneland High School in Maple Park, and a 2008 graduate of Bradley University with a B.S. in civil engineering with environmental option. He is employed by Strand Associates as a civil engineer.
The wedding ceremony will be Oct. 16, 2010, at Cross & Crown Lutheran Church, Roscoe, Ill. The couple will honeymoon in Mexico.
