The Sugar Grove American Legion will host its annual community fish and smelt fries.

Fish frys will be on Friday, Feb. 27, March 6, March 20, April 3 and May 8. The smelt frys will be on Saturday, Feb. 28, March 14, March 28, Aprill 1 and April 25, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the legion hall, 65 First Street, Sugar Grove. (630) 466-4747.

The menu varies by night, but includes fried chicken, fried fish, baked fish, hush puppies, tri taters, french fries, coleslaw, baked beans, au gratin potatoes and salad bar. Carry-outs are available.
