The following reports were obtained from the Sugar Grove Police Department. The individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Disorderly conduct
• Two males, 13 and 15, of the 200 block of Hampton Road, were charged with disorderly conduct at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 13 when they threatened a 14-year-old male with a switchblade knife and brass knuckles. The boys were playing football when an argument ensued. The two boys charged went home and returned with the weapons.
Domestic battery
• A 16-year-old male of the 100 block of Chelsea Ave. was charged with domestic battery at 2 p.m. on Feb. 14 when he hit his father with a training Samurai sword.
Excessive speed
• Jorg Fichtner, 37, resident of Germany, was charged with speeding more than 40 mph over the limit at 8:30 a.m. on Feb. 15, when he was found driving at 101 mph westbound on Route 56 approaching Route 47. He was apprehended headed south on Route 47 at Rolling Oaks Drive.
DUI
• Brad S. Schwab, 32, of the 300 block of Capital Drive, was charged with driving under the influence at 1:14 a.m. on Feb. 21 westbound on Galena Boulevard after being stopped for speeding after police caught him driving 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.
