KHS bowling run over by crossovers

KANELAND—Kaneland is still patrolling the lanes for its first dual win in the early goings of 2010-11.

Lady Knights bowling suffered a NIB-12 crossover setback on Thursday in Dixon by a final of 3,249-2,330.

Senior leader Holly Thomas held her own against the Duchesses, per usual, with a team-high 505 series and a team-high 178 game.

Behind Thomas was junior teammate Seleana Isaacs, who bowled a 457 series and a high game of 168.

In JV play, Kaneland fell to Dixon by a final of 2,828-1,598. Madi Bluml led KHS with a series of 365.

Against the Streator unit on Monday, KHS lost in a road contest 3,019-2,376.Thomas had a series of 472, marked by a high game of 163.

Seleana Isaacs bowled a 435 series and a 166 game.

For Streator, Sam Green was tops with a 607 series.The JV ranks lost 2,031-1,797.

Monday, Dec. 13, marks the next challenge for the 0-4 Lady Knights in the form of Illinois Math & Science Academy.
