SGUMC to host
SUGAR GROVE—The Sugar Grove United Methodist music department will present a Christmas Cantata, “Night of the Father’s Love,” on Sunday, Dec. 19, at both the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services.

Christmas musical at Northwest Bible Church
ELGIN—The Christmas musical “Amazing Grace” will be presented by the Northwest Bible Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 19, at 5:15 p.m.
This special Christmas musical presentation is free and will precede the church’s regular Sunday evening service at 7 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend this festive event.

Union Church offers
NORTH AURORA—There will be music in the air at Union Church at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, as it presents the Christmas Cantata, “I Cannot Tell.”
Come and join the church for a special evening of music and song, including its chancel choir, bell choir, children’s choir and special music by Matt and Cynthia Gruel.

St. Gall announces
ELBURN—In order to accommodate the large number of families attending Christmas Eve Mass on Friday, Dec. 24, St. Gall Church will provide two 4 p.m. Masses—one in the church and one in the parish hall.
The pastor, Fr. Karl Ganss, will preside in the church while Fr. William Etheredge, a priest from Aurora Central Catholic High School, will officiate in the parish hall. Children from the parish will present a Christmas pageant at the Mass in the church.
There will also be a Mass at 6 and 10 p.m. with music provided by the combined choir. The 10 p.m. Mass will be preceded by Christmas carols at 9:30 p.m.
Christmas Day Masses are at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. Masses on Sunday, Dec. 26, will be at 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m.

St. Peter Church
GENEVA—St. Peter Catholic Church in Geneva invites the public to Christmas and New Year’s worship services.
The Holy Mass will be celebrated on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, with two 4 p.m. Masses (one in the church, one in the gym), as well as Masses at 6:30 and 10 p.m.
On Christmas Day, Dec. 25, Masses are at 9 and 11 a.m.
Mass times will return to the regular nonholiday schedule on Sunday, Dec. 26, and will be held at 7, 9 and 11 p.m., and then at 5 p.m. Masses on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31, are at 7 and 8:45 a.m. Mass on New Years Day, Jan. 1, is at 8 a.m., with a Vigil Mass at 4:30 p.m.
