SG resident to discuss
faith at Aurora University

AURORA—Sugar Grove resident Amy Manion will discuss her faith in the “What I Believe” series at Aurora University at noon on Friday, Jan. 14.
The public is invited to the series sponsored by the Wackerlin Center for Faith and Action at 430 S. Evanslawn Ave., Aurora.
Manion serves as an AU information services librarian and volunteers as a deputy voter registrar.

Hosanna! Lutheran offers
women’s ministry retreat

St. Charles—Hosanna! Lutheran Church will host a Women’s Ministry Retreat on Saturday, Jan 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The topic, “Red Sea Rules,” will be led by Barb Wilson. Mrs. Wilson has a degree in elementary education and has taught at several Christian schools. She is author of the Bible study book, “Wife of Noble Character.”

Marriage conference
at Fox Valley
Christian Church

BATAVIA—Fox Valley Christian Church, 40W150 Main St., Batavia, will host a special marriage conference on Friday, Jan. 28, and Saturday, Jan. 29. The conference will be led by Justin and Trisha Davis, founders of Refine Our Marriage, who partner with churches all over the country.
