KUMC offers
Men’s Club Chili Supper

Kaneville—The Kaneville United Methodist Men’s Club will host a chili supper on Saturday, Feb. 26, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. in the church basement.

Come enjoy a fun evening of music and food. The chili will range from mild to wild, and hot dogs will be available. Dine in or carry out.

Listen to country bluegrass by The Good Old Boys Gospel Singers.

A free-will offering will be accepted.

Homemade spaghetti
offered Feb. 27

ST. CHARLES—Two Guys and Free Spaghetti will provide a homemade spaghetti and meatballs dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 27. The meal will include a beverage, salad, Italian garlic bread and homemade dessert to anyone who attends the monthly event held at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. 5th Ave. (Route 25) in St. Charles.

St. Gall announces
Ash Wednesday schedule

ELBURN—The St. Gall Catholic Church in Elburn announced the following services to observe Ash Wednesday, the traditional beginning of lent.

On Tuesday, March 8, there will be an Anticipation Mass at 7:30 p.m. to mark the beginning of lent. Ashes will be distributed during the Mass.

Services on Ash Wednesday, March 9, will be at 8:30 a.m. (Mass and distribution of ashes), 12:10 p.m. (Word service and distribution of ashes), and at 7:30 p.m. (Mass and ashes).

In addition to the above services, there will also be a short service with distribution of ashes for religious education students at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, and Wednesday, March 9. All religious education parents are welcome to attend the service with their children.
