I've noticed too that our Park with the nice concrete checker table that was beautifully made by local scouts needs a bit of consideration for the local kids on the southwest side kids to play in. Kind of like the park on corner of W. Shannon St./Babcock St. The grading and seeding was down real nice before the victory garden kind of messed it up. A set of play equipment like the other park would be a beautifully asset for Elburn and kids can safely play without having to cross 47.The nice thing too its right next to the Fire dept for safety. With the new trail going in also kind of all comes together.Trustee Bill Grabacek and the village was strongly for buying that parcial before it could be use for anyother reason.

Very interesting; From what I see now will need a stop light to get across route 47 now.One thing I'd like to know also how can people south of the tracks get there safely? Then too what about the people on the south west side to get there without putting there life in danger going over the tracks on First street .Anyone in a wheelchair can forget it! Basically no sidewalks that of up to safety standards. From Kansas to North avenue on First street needs to be taken care of so people can take their kids safely across the tracks.
