Kaneland announces Hall of Fame induction ceremony

KANELAND—Kaneland’s Hall of Fame is to honor and recognize former Kaneland students, staff members, organizations and supporters who have demonstrated excellence and commitment. The following Kaneland alumni will be inducted into Kaneland’s Hall of Fame on Monday, May 2, at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.

• James C. Hannon, Ph.D., CSCS (1988)—Personal Achievement
• Ronald J. Ackerman (1975)—Extra-Curricular
• 1976 Boys’ Track Team—Teamwork.

This celebration is part of the annual Academic Achievement Awards program honoring current Kaneland High School students with a cumulative GPA of 4.5 out of 5.0.

Community members are invited to a dessert reception at 6 p.m. in the high school cafeteria to visit with and celebrate the achievements of Dr. Hannon, Ron Ackerman and the 1976 Boys’ Track Team.

This event is sponsored by the Hall of Fame Committee.
