Elburn—Brittney Carnell was among 180 students honored for their outstanding academic achievements at the Honors Convocation and Hooding Ceremony held earlier this month at Benedictine University in Lisle, Ill.

Carnell, whose parents are Glenn and Melissa Carnell of Elburn, was named the Outstanding Senior in Marketing.
