Rummage, bake sale
at St. Gall

ELBURN—St. Gall Catholic Church, 120 W. Shannon St., will host a Rummage and Bake Sale Friday and Saturday, Aug. 19 and 20.
The parish hall and basement classrooms are filled to the brim with household goods, books, sporting goods, electronics, toys, home improvements, small furniture, bikes, lamps, tools, shoes and clothing. There will also be a bake sale.
Sale is from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. Clothing Bag Sale starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Proceeds will benefit St. Gall’s Parish needs.

Don Beebe to be
featured at Elburn Days

ELBURN—Former NFL star wide receiver and current motivational speaker Don Beebe will be featured during the Elburn Days 2011 Worship in the Park at 9 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21.

175th birthday worship
KANEVILLE—Kaneville United Methodist Church will host a 175th birthday worship for Kaneville on Sunday, Aug. 28, at 9:30 a.m. The service will be at the pavilion just outside of Kaneville Community Center. Call KUMC at (630) 557-0018 for details.
