Kaneland’s indoor girls track season continued on the homestretch with its Western Sun Conference Indoor track meet at Glenbard South on Friday, with the Lady Knights.

Kaneland’s varsity squad finished seventh with 32 points, ahead of DeKalb’s 22.

Batavia (78), Sycamore (71) and Glenbard South (55) finished in the top three. Lady Knight Jordan Pinkston finished second with a 10-foot effort in the pole vault.

In the Sterling Triangular, Kaneland finished third with 38 points behind Sterling (58) and Freeport (49).

Jordyn Lawrence won the 400 meter dash at 1:05.46, while Andie Strang took the 800m run (2:37.60) and the 1600m run (5:54). The 4x800m relay squad took first with a 10:07.60 time.
