By on January 19, 2012

Kaneland—The Kaneland Community Fine Arts Festival will welcome the Main Street Kids Club to the stage of the Kaneland High School Theater on Friday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m.

This production was inspired by the award-winning series by Stuart J. Murphy, and offers fun for the whole family. “The Main Street Kids’ Club: A MathStart Musical” tells a tale of adventure, mystery, friendship and math. Six stories, each focusing on a different mathematical concept, have been deftly woven together and adapted by Scott Ferguson (“Schoolhouse Rock Live!”), with lyrics by Scott Ferguson and Michael Mahler, and music by Michael Mahler.

Tickets for this event can be purchased at the door or online at www.kanelandartsfestival.org. Call (630) 365-5100, ext. 180 or 231. Admission is $8 for students, $10 for adults, or $25 for a family ticket.
