Thanks for helping Elburn Baseball, Softball

Elburn Baseball and Softball would like to thank several people for their many years of service to the league.
Mike and Dawn Kuefler, John Van Bogaert and Randy Jones have been instrumental over the past few years in bringing the league to the level of excellence we have all come to expect. However, as their kids have grown out of the program, new leadership is necessary.
Elburn Baseball and Softball is run entirely through parent volunteers. We are not part of a park district (Elburn does not have one), and therefore it takes us as a community to make the baseball and softball experience the best we possibly can for our kids.
As a league we are at a crossroads. Without some new blood, the league stands little chance of maintaining or hopefully improving upon the foundation that has been left to us by the previous administration. We are currently in need of help on many fronts. If your children are involved in the league, I strongly urge you to attend an EBS meeting or contact a member of the board via the EBS website at www.elburn.com/baseball.
These EBS meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Library. Our next meeting will be a mandatory coaches meeting, but will also be open to all others. This meeting will be held at Lions’ Park on Tuesday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. I can’t stress this enough: Your village’s league will not survive without your help.
