Thorgesen, Brais to wed

Joe and LeAne Thorgesen of Elburn announce the engagment of their son, Michael Thorgesen, to Lindsay Brais, daughter of Scott and Erin Brais.
The bride-to-be is a 2005 Lincoln Way Central graduate and a 2009 Illinois State University graduate. She is currently employed as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit of Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, Ill.
The future groom is a 2005 Kaneland High School graduate and a 2009 Illinois State University graduate. He is currently employed as a teacher in the Kaneland School District.
The wedding will take place July 20, 2012, at St. Jude Church in New Lenox, Ill.
