Kindergarten Registration and Literacy Fair

KANELAND—The 2011 Kindergarten Registration and Literacy Fair will be held Saturday, March 10, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Kaneland High School, 47W326 Keslinger Road in Maple Park.

Students with last names beginning with the letters A-H can register from 8 to 9:30 a.m.; last names beginning with the letters I-O can register from 9:30 to 11 a.m.; and last names beginning with the letters P-Z can register from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. You can also register from 12:30 to 1 p.m. if you miss your designated registration time.

Informational booths for health and physical information, speech, alphabet sounds/letter recognition, number, retelling, rhyming, what to expect in Kindergarten, motor skills, independent/adaptive skills, transportation and a theme movie will be available during the fair.

You will need to bring original and photocopied forms of a driver’s license, birth certificate, proof of residency (utility bill, lease, mortgage, etc.), and a form of payment for fees, which is approximately $125. Check or credit will be accepted.
