KANEVILLE—The Kaneville Village Board on Feb. 16 introduced and welcomed their future village clerk.
Denise Harris, who will be replacing current Village Clerk Sandi Weiss after she retires, will start April 1 of this year.
“We welcome her on board,” Village President Bob Rodney said. “We appreciate her taking this job.”
Rodney also thanked Weiss for her hard work.
“You’ve been a great clerk,” Rodney said, “And we are all going to miss you.”
Harris will undergo training from Weiss in the coming months to prepare for the job.
“We look forward to working with Denise, but it will be sad to see Sandi go,” Rodney said.
