I finally agree with Anderson on something–the Village has no money to purchase the lot & it’s not the taxpayer’s who need to provide parking for business owners.

Republican hypocrisy. Business wanting a hand out from the government. No tax dollars to bail out Elburn business owners! Sink or swim. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps!

‘Where is everybody going to park?’

Well…Lets see there is a lot on First street across from the lot in back of Schmidt bar. As it is now with 3 bars on one block the streets are looking like a Chicago ally. The lot in back of Schmidt’s bar gets plowed and all the rocks and various garbage gets pushed onto the sidewalks so no one can walk on our sidewalks.The curbs have no meaning and a lot of people are in danger of the drunks that leave the Liquor establishments on the week-ends.Fix up the lot (Schmidt )in back of your bar and the city owned on across the street that is a 150 foot from your back door.Ya know the one with all kinds of empty liquor containers etc .Either way ya look at it this town is going downhill. Bring Back Willie
