Colombe honored as 3A/4A coach of the Year

KANELAND—The Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) selected Ernie Colombe as the District 5 Girls Basketball 3A/4A Coach of the Year. The IBCA honors the Coach of the Year at the IBCA Hall of Fame Banquet in April.

Colombe took over as coach of the Lady Knights in the 2006-07 season and took Kaneland to its first regional championship and sectional final berth in 2012.
