Jim R. Nulf

Jim R. Nulf, 72, of Otterville, Mo., passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012, at the home of his daughter in Sugar Grove. He was born March 27, 1939, in Huntsville, Mo.

Jim retired in 2001 after 39 years working for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad and then the Union Pacific Railroad. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1962. He was an avid collector of guns and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jim also enjoyed many trips to Utah, collecting rocks and fossils.

Survivors include his daughter, Kathleen Aldridge and her husband, Joel; a granddaughter, Olivia Aldridge; brothers, David William Nulf of Rochester, Wash., and Kurt Arn Nulf of Round Lake Beach, Ill.; and a sister, Caroline Wayne of O’Fallon, Ill.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Ross William Nulf and Dollie (Hughes) Nulf.
A private service was held for the family. Arrangements were made by The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove.
