For example, currently a parking ticket carries with it a fine of $20. The new proposal is for a fine of $40 for the first offense, with a second offense at $80 and a third offense set at $120.

I’ll agree with that proposal and add to it to have Elburn police start enforcing the intoxicated driver’s around the local watering hole’s (3 on one block) that are a danger to public safety.In the last year I’ve seen several occasions where law enforcement may have issued DUI tickets to the intoxicated personal leaving the establishment’s in the bar zone. I’d say yes to the increase and also increase the severance of a situation that seems to be getting out of hand with the local liquor establishments.
