Brett Richard Brubaker

Brett Richard Brubaker, son of Dick and Beth Brubaker of Elburn, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 3, 2012.

Brett was born June 25, 1962, in Arlington Heights, Ill. He moved to Elburn with his family in 1976 and attended Kaneland High School, graduating in 1980. Brett attended Taylor University, graduating in 1984.

In 2001, Brett married Mary Lynn Morgan of Batavia. In 2011, Brett and Mary Lynn moved to Brookfield, Wis., where Brett worked as senior software developer for MC Services.

Brett was a kind and generous man, passionate about reading, energized by his friendships, devoted to playing fast-pitch softball, in love with his wife and children, and deeply committed to his relationship with Jesus Christ.

Brett is survived by his wife, Mary Lynn Brubaker; his children, Brandi and Brennan Brubaker, and Jody Henningson; his parents, Dick and Beth Brubaker; and his siblings, Scott Brubaker, Linda Nelson, Dana Gould, Sarah Ahrens and Liz Ruh.
