WOOSTER, Ohio— Elburn resident Christine Crites received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from The College of Wooster during commencement exercises on May 14.
While at Wooster, Crites was a member of the Cross Cultural Living and Experiences Program, Model United Nations, WOODS Environmental Club and Epsilon Kappa Omicron social club. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Samoa, was elected as a delegate to the Chicago Humanities Festival, and received a Copeland Fund Grant to conduct research at the University of Hawaii for her Independent Study project (Wooster’s nationally acclaimed senior research experience.). In addition, she received an Academic Achievement Award, a Class of 1930 Scholarship and a J & M Johnson Scholarship. She has been accepted into the graduate program in Pacific Island Studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where she will begin her studies in the fall.
