Steven Boor, a 2008 graduate of Kaneland High School and currently an engineering student at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, was invited to join Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society at the university.

Invitations to join Phi Eta Sigma are extended to students who have earned a GPA of 3.5 or higher during the first or second semester at the University of Illinois.
