Edward J. Jungels, 83, of Montgomery, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012. He was born in Aurora on March 19, 1929, to George S. and Irene (Wennmacher) Jungels.
Ed lived his entire life in the Aurora and Montgomery areas. He retired from All-Steel in 1991 after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve (Schlindwein) Jungels of Montgomery; sisters, Dolores Reier and Pat Hall, both of Aurora; a brother, Ralph (Edye) of Arkansas; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a number of good friends.
Edward was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Agnes Gerhardt and Carol Miller, plus a number of close relatives.
Funeral services and visitation were held on Tuesday at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove. Burial followed at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
