Advent season
suppers with Luke

ELBURN—St. Gall Church, 120 W. Shannon St. in Elburn, would like to invite the public to a light supper, followed by discussion of Luke’s perspective on the birth of Christ. The dinner will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday evenings. The Visitation will be the subject at the dinner on Dec. 2, followed by the Birth of John at the dinner on Dec. 16. The Birth of Jesus will be the discussion the final supper on Dec. 23.
Anyone interested is welcome to come for dinner and fellowship. You need not be a parishioner or Catholic to attend. For more information, call the St. Gall parish office at (630) 365-6030.

Elburn CCC to offer
activity during
Christmas Stroll

ELBURN—Community Congregational Church, 100 E. Shannon St., will offer cookie decorating during the Elburn Christmas Stroll on Friday, Dec. 7.

Annual cookie walk and
bake sale at St. Paul’s UCC

HINCKLEY—St. Paul’s United Church of Christ will host its annual cookie walk and bake sale on Saturday, Dec. 8, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the church, located at the corner of View and McKinley streets.
Homemade cookies and candy will be available for $6 per pound. Along with the cookies, there will be a bazaar and mini-craft show including, but not limited to, silk arrangements, wreaths, bows, jewelry, handmade cards, crocheted items, candles and so much more.

St. Mary’s of Maple Park
Christmas Cookie Sale

MAPLE PARK—St. Mary’s of Maple Park annual Christmas Cookie Sale will take place on Saturday, Dec. 15, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Novak Center, County Line Road in Maple Park.
New this year are pictures with Santa Claus and refreshments presented by St. Mary’s Knights of Columbus. Choose your own homemade cookies for $6 per pound. Advance orders for assorted cookies may be placed any time before Wednesday, Dec. 12.

Book of Genesis study
ST. CHARLES—The study of the Book of Genesis will be given by Bible Study Fellowship International on Wednesday mornings, 9:10 to 11 a.m. from now until May 2013 at Riverside Community Church, St. Charles.
