Geneva—The Kaneland 10U Travel Baseball Team participated in the first of its many baseball tournaments during the Memorial Day weekend, rattling off five straight wins to take the championship of the 10U Cougar Classic.

After their championship run, the team received a trophy, medals, and the Kane County Cougars rewarded the team with autographs and an announcement over the PA system during the Cougars game on May 26.

The newly formed team is coached by Bryan Williams, with assistant coaches Kevin Gomes, George Milton and Brian Nied.
