MP Police Department’s ‘Wheel of Meat’ event July 27

MAPLE PARK—The Maple Park Police Department’s sixth annual “Wheel of Meat” will take place Saturday, July 27, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Maple Park Pub and Grill, 221 Main Street, Maple Park.

The event is in memory of Mickey, a Special Olympic athlete. All proceeds will benefit the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. Raffles will include meat items on every spin—ham, turkey, pork loin, steaks, ribs and brats; Sports Jerseys—Cubs, Sox, Bulls, Packers, Blackhawks and Bears; gift certificates of all types; sports tickets; gift items and more. Donations are currently needed.
