Habitat restoration workday in SG

SUGAR GROVE—A habitat restoration work day will take place at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve on Saturday, Aug. 24, from 9 a.m. to noon. Work will include weed control such as pulling or cutting invasive species and any other needed tasks. Dress appropriately with long pants, sturdy shoes and work gloves. Refreshments will be offered at the break. Children under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

Bliss Woods is located on Bliss Road, a short distance north of Route 47, in Sugar Grove. Participants will meet at the inner parking lot.
