Preview: 44th annual Eddington Invite
ELBURN—The 44th annual Eddington Cross Country Invitational is Saturday, beginning at 9 a.m. at Elburn Woods.

In 2012, four teams from the Eddington went on to qualify for state at either the 2A or 3A level Seven individuals went on to earn all-state honors. The Lady Knights took fifth at the meet in 2012, as Jacobs earned the team title.
On the boys side, Crystal Lake Central returns to defend their 2012 team title, as does 2012 runner-up Jacobs. Perennial 2A power Belivdere North joins the fray this year as well. The Knights finished sixth in 2012, paced by returner Kyle Carter’s fourth-place finish individually.
