With a couple of tough outings against Western Sun Conference teams, the Lady Knights tennis squad fell to 4-6 in dual action this season.
On Thursday, host Kaneland fell prey to Geneva by a final of 7-0. Geneva’s JV team also got past Kaneland 6-1, despite Jess Woodward’s victory.
On Tuesday under chilly conditions, the Lady Knights lost 6-1 to the host Glenbard South Raiders. No. 1 singles entry Lindsay Jurcenko took the lone win for the Lady Knights with a 7-6, 6-3 win. Olivia Emmanouil and Liz Webb were defeated in the No. 1 doubles category by a 6-3, 6-3 margin.
Kaneland’s next challenge is a home meet with Sycamore on Thursday, Oct. 1.
