Elburn resident helps launch college news website

Elburn resident and University of St. Thomas student Mary Kenkel helped launch TommieMedia.com, the St. Paul, Minn., university’s only student-led and produced news website.
The Communication and Journalism Department at the University of St. Thomas launched TommieMedia.com in an effort to reflect the realities of today’s journalism and media.
As the assignment editor, Kenkel oversees and produces multimedia story content.
