Halloween Fest set for Oct. 24

By on October 20, 2009

Big Rock—Halloween Fest is a free family event set for Saturday, Oct. 24, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Plowman’s Park in Big Rock.

This is the 20th anniversary for the Franks Haunted House. In addition to the Franks Haunted House, there is a not-so-scary, interactive, hands-on Kiddie Haunted House.

There will be stage shows, clowns, face painting, magicians, haunted hayrides and games for children. Children can make their own scarecrows and a craft to take home.

The Halloween Fest sponsored by Big Rock, Hinckley and Sugar Grove. For the past 13 years, these communities have brought together hundreds of residents, dozens of organizations and countless businesses, to provide a safe, fun-filled Halloween event that the whole family can enjoy.
