Many in the neighborhood had significant basement flooding. I had a new furnace at risk. We were lucky but the nightmare was one I don’t want to see a repeat of. We cleaned up & diverted water for hours. Fortunately we never lost power. If the pipes are damaged, dirt and debris can continue to accumulate putting us at risk so I hope the village will make fixing this problem a priority.
