		<description><![CDATA[Karen - you need to reread the article!  The district does not plan to let 112 teacher go.  They are anticipating less than half that number.  There aren&#039;t a lot of frills or waste to cut.  All the HS clubs are being axed.  Sports at the middle school are being cut.  Write to your legislators and demand that the State pay its debt to our schools.  That is the real problem.  We need legislators who know how to balance a budget, raise taxes if necessary and cut waste (like their salaries and benefits).  Instead of the federal government initiative (Race to the TOP) we need money directed toward just keeping the schools open.]]></description>
