St. Gall adds
Sunday evening Mass

Elburn—In order to accommodate Catholics in fulfilling their Sunday obligation, St. Gall Church in Elburn is offering a new 5 p.m. Sunday Mass.

In commenting on the new Mass time, Father Karl Ganss said, “The newly scheduled 5 p.m. Mass will give families a greater opportunity to worship together, given the many demands made by school, sports and other activities during the morning and early afternoon. St. Gall is happy to offer this family-friendly liturgy.”

The current schedule of Masses at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 8, 9:30 and 11 a.m. on Sunday, remains intact.

St. Gall Church is located at the corner of Shannon Street and Route 47 in Elburn. For more information, please call the parish office at (630) 365-6030.

St. Peter Church
offers soup supper,
Stations of the Cross

Geneva—The St. Peter Church Junior High Youth Ministry Team will prepare and serve a soup supper on Friday, March 5, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

There is no charge for the meal. At 7 p.m., all are invited to attend the Catholic devotion called Stations of the Cross. The short prayer service offers a meditative opportunity to reflect upon 14 events on the day of Jesus death during His walk to Calvary. Each event is portrayed on beautiful paintings around the interior of the church. The supper is served in the Multipurpose Room, and the prayer service is in the church.

Stations of the Cross (without a soup supper) will also be prayed at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 19, 26 and April 2. St. Peter Church is located at 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva. Call the parish center at (630) 232-0124 with questions.
