The following reports were obtained from local police departments. The individuals charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Elburn
• Richard T. Estes, 41, of the 1500 block of Suydam Road in Sandwich, was arrested at 12:50 p.m. Feb. 27 for driving without having a valid license. Police stopped Estes after he ignored the red flashing lights and warning gates at the Main Street railroad crossing in Elburn.

• Ryan C. Baader, 22, of the 400 block of north Wisconsin Avenue in Villa Park, was arrested at 2:42 a.m. Feb. 27, for driving under the influence of alcohol. Police stopped him on Route 38 east of Pouley Road in Elburn, for having only one headlight on the Lexus he was driving, and for improper lane use. A passenger in the vehicle, David G. Gomez, 19, of the first block of North Euclid Avenue in Villa Park, was arrested for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and unlawful use of an identification card.

• Edward F. Wilcox, 44, of the 1400 block of Moluf Street in DeKalb, was arrested at 5:56 a.m. Feb. 26 in Elburn for driving while his license was suspended. He also was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in court in DuPage County, on the charge of driving while his license was suspended.

• Bradford A. Daw, 36, of the 400 block of North Charles Street in Cortland, was arrested for driving while his license was suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle. Police stopped him for driving on the shoulder of Route 47 near Kansas Street in Elburn.

Sugar Grove
• Mark A. Armstrong, 46, of the 500 block of Morton Ave., Aurora, was arrested on an in-state warrant at 3:53 p.m. on Feb. 12. The warrants were for failure to appear for a DUI through the Montgomery Police Department and failure to appear for a domestic battery charge through the Kane County Sheriff’s Department. He was eastbound on Galena Boulevard at Route 56,

• Elizabeth Alcantara, 20, of the 1700 block of Stonegate Drive, Montgomery, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 12:58 a.m. on Feb. 13. She was stopped at 247 St. James Parkway.

• Javier Gamboa, 21, of the 200 block of Paradise Parkway, Oswego, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor at 12:58 a.m. on Feb. 13. He was stopped at 247 St. James Parkway.

• Sam G. Payne, 19, of the 299 block of Hampton Road, Sugar Grove, was charged with driving with a suspended driver’s license at 10:28 a.m. on Feb. 13. He was stopped at 46 S. Route 47.

• Johnny R. Wilson, 26, of the 400 block of Indian Trail Road, Aurora, was found at 1:19 p.m. on Feb. 12 with an in-state warrant for failure to appear in court on a warrant for parole violation. He was stopped at Gordon Road and Galena Boulevard.

• Benjamin R. Koehler, 22, of 500 Pleasant Ave., Sandwich, was charged at 3:07 a.m. on Feb. 13 with driving under the influence, with a blood alcohol level of more than .08, failure to yield while turning right and driving with a suspended license. He was involved in a crash at Route 30 and Dugan Road.

• Someone reported that a male Hispanic, 50 to 55, with gray facial hair and wearing a Chicago Bears cap, attempted to steal seven bags of frozen shrimp with a value of $48.93 from the ALDI on Route 47 in Sugar Grove at 11:55 a.m. on Feb. 12.

• Someone in Bangkok, Thailand, made fraudulent purchases on Feb. 11 on a credit card owned by a Sugar Grove resident in the first block of Cannon Street.
