CARLINVILLE, Ill.—Cynthia Roberg of Maple Park was named to the Blackburn College dean’s list after earning a 3.9 grade point average for the fall 2011 semester.

AURORA— The following residents were named to the Aurora University high honors dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester:

ROCK ISLAND, ILL.—Emily Butts of Elburn, a sophomore majoring in elementary education, participated in a concert on Feb. 4 at Augustana College, that included four choirs: Cantilena Augustana, Wennerberg Men’s Chorus, Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble and the Ascension Singers.

SUGAR GROVE—Sarah Morgan of Elburn was named to the Waubonsee Community College (WCC) president’s list after completing her first semester in the honors program with a grade point average of 4.0.

LISLE, ILL.—Leah Kennetz of Sugar Grove and Jacqueline Mueller of Elburn were named to the dean’s list at Benedictine University for the fall 2011 semester.

ST. LOUIS—Jessica Bruce of Elburn earned dean’s list honors for the fall 2011 semester at Maryville University of St. Louis. Bruce is a student in Maryville’s College of Arts and Sciences.

MALTA, ILL.—Robin Gwynn Larson and Alyse Christine Olson of Maple Park, and Lindsay Nicole Rempala of Sugar Grove, were named to the fall 2011 dean’s list at Kishwaukee College.

ITHACA, N.Y.—Jessica Corbett, daughter of James and Lorrie Corbett of Sugar Grove and a freshman journalism major, was named to the dean’s list at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications for the fall 2011 semester.

ELGIN, ILL.—Kelli Hanson (education in literacy) and Tiffany Komosa (Christian ministries) of Elburn received their degrees with the 66th graduating class from Judson University during their commencement ceremonies on Dec. 10, 2011.

LISLE, Ill.—Jacqueline Mueller of Elburn and Leah Kennetz of Sugar Grove were named to the dean’s list at Benedictine University for the fall 2011 semester.

ILLINOIS—Matheu Poust, a sophomore at Kaneland High School, was recently selected as “delegate at large” to complete the five-member Illinois delegation to attend the National 4-H Conference in Washington, D.C. this spring.

DES MOINES, IOWA—Kelly Shaw of Elburn, was been named to the dean’s list at Drake University. Shaw achieved this academic honor by earning a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall 2011 semester.
