Dan and Carrie Murphy of Elburn announce the birth of their daughter, Teagan Brianna, who was born Oct. 27, 2012, at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill. She weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21.5 inches long.

Martha Jeanne Vanatta, 84 of Rochelle, Ill., formerly of Kaneville, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2012, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital.
