The Da Capo Duo presented a free concert at the Elburn & Countryside Community Center on March 6.

If constituents whom I serve fail to make their mortgage payments, the bank forecloses. If we don’t make our car payment, the car is repossessed.

Last Saturday, I took some time away from my family to attend a meeting at the Geneva City Hall with our 14th Congressional District Representative, Bill Foster.

I deeply appreciate the landslide support that voters in the Republican Primary provided for me and our volunteers. It is a privilege to work for you, and I will do my best for you and your family.

Recently there has been some talk of our state legislators now wanting to privatize Illinois’ tollway system so that they can pay off the state’s debt.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the many individuals who supported my campaign, especially those that dedicated their time and energy on my behalf.

School is a place for leaning and for kids to be comfortable and interact with their peers. So why are some kids afraid to go to school?

On behalf of the Holiday Spirit Committee, we would again like to thank this community for its overwhelming response to those in need.

I would like to express just a small portion of the overwhelming gratitude I am feeling following my election as the Democratic nominee for Circuit Court Judge.

Every election offers each of us the unique opportunity to directly participate in what makes America so special: that we have government of the people, by the people, for the people.

Do you know what benefits are available to you? Do you know who to contact to find out about those benefits? How about pensions or compensation, lost discharges, GI loans, correction of records, or any other number of benefits or information you need as a veteran?

I take exception to Mr. Dennis Ryan’s comments in a letter to the editor in last week’s Elburn Herald.

He should research his points thoroughly before he puts things in writing. I am sure people read his letter and took his misinformation as fact.

The Primary Election race for the 25th Illinois Senatorial District is between Chris Lauzen and Sean Michels, the village president of Sugar Grove since 1999.

I ask each Republican voter in this election, a few questions:

My wife Jan and I moved to Sugar Grove five years ago to be closer to our daughters and their families.

I am writing to encourage voters to remember who their real friend and champion has been in the Illinois State Senate, and to encourage them to be sure and get out to send their message of support by voting in the Feb. 2nd primary election for incumbent Chris Lauzen.
