The Kaneland High School wrestling program can be pleased that they not only sent two wrestlers to the Class 2A State meet at Assembly Hall in Champaign, but also had those grapplers get a win on the Illini mat.

SYCAMORE—Donovan Williams had plenty to say about the finish between Kaneland and Sycamore on Friday night off of Route 23.

There will be no repeating playoff opener success for Kaneland girls basketball in 2010.

The Kaneland boys basketball team had a difficult first quarter before righting the ship in their last meeting with the Yorkville Foxes, but the most recent meeting on Friday had the host Foxes handing the Knights a 46-35 loss.

Fortunately for Knights wrestling, offseason plans aren’t starting just yet.
