The 27th annual Waubonsee Community College baseball and softball hitting camp gave area boys and girls a chance to put what they’ve learned into action during the camp’s final day on Thursday.

The 7th Grade Girls Kaneland Silver Stars Basketball Team were crowned champions of the 2011 Grayslake Basketball Tournament after beating Stevenson, 23-22 on Feb. 26.

Kaneland Cagers Boys 5th Grade White Team took first place at the Grayslake Tourney on Saturday and Sunday.
